Wyst Terms of Service
Welcome to Wyst, operated by Wyst Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17478012) with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX ("Wyst", "we", "us"). By creating an account and using the Wyst app or website, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use Wyst, and must provide accurate profile information.
Your account
You're responsible for the content you post, the messages you send, and your conduct at any group, event or chat you join through Wyst. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else, contact us straight away.
Community guidelines
Wyst exists to help people meet in person around shared interests. To keep that safe and welcoming:
- Be respectful in chats and at events.
- No harassment, hate speech, or discrimination.
- Do not share other people's personal information without their consent.
- Use the Report option in Settings for anyone or anything that makes you feel unsafe.
Accounts that break these guidelines may be restricted or removed, at our discretion.
Events
Anyone can host an event through Wyst, subject to the app's rules (minimum notice, how far ahead, maximum length, number of attendees, tag limits, hosting one event at a time and going to up to 3 at a time). The organiser is responsible for the event itself; Wyst provides the group chat and listing, not the event. Events and their group chats are removed a day after they end; see the Privacy Policy for more on how long things are kept.
Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post (profile details, messages, event listings). By posting it, you give Wyst the licence needed to store, display and transmit it to the people it's meant for, for as long as your account and that content exist.
Service provided "as is"
Wyst is under active development. Features may change, and we may update these terms as the app evolves. We do our best to keep things running, but the app is provided without warranties of any kind, and we're not liable for losses arising from its use, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or the community guidelines.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Changes
We'll update this page if these terms change, and update the "last updated" date above.
